The next step to dressing your Christmas table.
Hang onto your empty white wine bottles, preferrably the clear glass ones, soak off all the labels, remove everything and place a simple white candle in each bottle.
Dress your table with multiple bottles down the centre - a dramatic, simple and affordable statement.
N.B: For best effect you need lots of bottles so by my husband reckoning you'll need to drink the best part of a couple of cases of wine!!
Another little pearl for a christmas decoration is popcorn, yes popcorn I am currently experimenting with it at the moment - I will keep you updated - watch this space... www.facebook.com/home.php
- Oh the joy of finding a wonderful company like Lilly and Day - a garden design and landscape company who are taking inspiration from the outdoors to create unique decorative centrepieces for the home. Love love love Lilly's top tip: Find a glass tumbler and tie fresh rosemary around it, secure with ribbon or raffia. A brilliant and easy, original table piece, which you can then place a tea light inside to create an atmosphere but it also has a lovely scent from the rosemary. (Oops forget to mention put some double-sided sticky tape around the glass first... it makes it much easier to hold the rosemary in place.)
